Default Ringer and volumes buttons

Something a bit annoying: if you press one of the volume buttons (+ or -) when the phone is ringing, it will stop the ringing and you cannot get the ringing back.
If that happens too often, you end up with the phone ringing only once until you do a battery pull.

Touching a key while the phone is ringing has for a long time silenced the ring, but only for that call. I've never had it reset my phone to "silent".

Well, if you do it a couple of times, the ringer will ring only once (NOT set to "silent") for the next calls, until you do a battery pull. That has happened to me twice. Will probably happen more often as those buttons on the side are placed in such a way that one has a 75% chnace of hitting them when pulling the phone out of one's pocket. Very annoying.

Again this morning, I received a call while I was typing, so the phone did not ring (strange, but I had the explanation from rambo47 that pressing any key will stop the ringing). The next call, the phone rang only once. I had to do a battery pull to get to ring normally again. This is rather ridiculous and it seems that the 1.000 dollars or so I spent on it have been wasted and I will revert to the 9700.

OK, I did the test with another ring ("assured") and the behaviour is normal. Ringing does NOT stop when pressing any key, just if I press the touch screen where it says "ringer off". The phone rings normally for the next call. I had a custom ring (from the 24 TV series) before which worked very well on my previous Bolds.
