We'll see if that rep knew what he was talking about or not on the 18th...

Someone posted that they heard from someone (who is incorrect) that it would be the 18th.

I've heard otherwise.

Not yet.

Some guy on cb has 7.1.0.103 running with screens and he said two weeks from Saturday or Sunday give or take. I called my carrier and not surprisingly, they know nothing. Not sure if he is talking about a leak or a release for his carrier or his location or what...

When it drops even the dead will know. It will come when it comes. Try contacting Tmob for further information.

HotSpot is working as well. BBM seems to be an issue ,but that feature is minor for me.

Try it out it works.
There are a couple of dead links for the download but sift through and you will find new hosted download sites.

I'm good. Thanks. My "REALLY" was sarcasm. 7.1.0.74 has been out for 8 days, which is a long time in BlackBerry Beta Years.

BBM is working fine also.

I'm just trying to help those that may really need the WiFi feature such as users like myself, since calls from my house over the air are non existent.
This where 90% of my call activity is, so it's very important to me.

If you don't have anything of real value to input, please stop polluting the thread with your sarcasm.

Thank You.

gareeb, you do realize that I was the one who posted that 7.1 was available..
Post #50 in the thread. Therefore I added value to the thread.

You have permission to drop the attitude and enjoy your WiFi calling (it isn't UMA as it drops when you leave the WiFi area and doesn't transfer to 3G/4G).

Again, I am just relaying helpful information to those that may need the feature sooner than the carrier is providing.

I'm not sure how being sarcastic to a fellow forum user is adding value to the thread, you must get good feelings about being a jerk for no good reason.

You prove your need to be right about everything by your last statement. I know the difference between the WiFi & UMA feature. UMA never handed off calls properly anyway regardless of where I was.

It's terribly sad to see people behave the way they do behind the keyboards. I'm sure you wouldn't behave this way in person to anyone.

I don't want to have an internet argument with someone I don't even know.
Let's just drop it and get back on topic please.

Hmmmm...you don't want to have an Internet argument, yet here you are continuing your argument and name-calling (which is a ban-able offense).
