I have damaged my blackberry torch screen, I am unable to log onto phone as I put a password lock on it. I need to recover my files and information. How can I bypass this password

If it is still under warranty, you can bring it back to where you bought it, provided you have some sort of damage plan insurance, otherwise you can take it to any mobile shop that specializes in BlackBerry repair.

Also, if you performed a backup recently, you can restore to another phone.

Can't bypass the password. Security is one of the strengths of the BB. Enter the wrong one 10 times, it will wipe clean.

Don't bother, just ask her if she is cheating on you. If your a she dont bother asking him, he is.

Connect the phone to a pc with desktop manager loaded. the DM will ask for the BB password. then do a backup. the BB may need the password also. Just input it even thought you cannot see the screen. Your contacts and files after backup will be safe. This all depends on you actually knowing the password.
