Sorry if this has been posted before or am posting in wrong area not sure how to use it.
i was just wondering am selling my blackberry bold 9780 on orange contract 100 mins unlimted texts and 500mb blackberry data..am getting SICK of blackberry i was looking at HTC HD2 i was just wondering will my internet work or do i have to ring orange and ask them to change it? will they agree? i was looking at an iphone first and most places said u need to change the internet...can someone please help me asap..am selling my phone tomorrow need to know.

You need to be patient and wait longer than 34 minutes for an answer. This is a BB forum, not a smartphone Forum. You need to wait for someone to find your post and has the right expertise to respond.

My guess (and only a guess) is you would need to call your carrier and change the data plan from a BB data plan to a regular smartphone plan.

ANd before you sell the BB, make sure you wipe it clean of all your data and call the carrier and specifically CANCEL your BIS account. Otherwise the buyer will not be able to set up email or any BB function and will be bugging you to fix it.

Orange won't mind, but you still have to call them. Carriers often have to make subtle changes on their end when you change to/from BlackBerrys. It's often also the case with iPhones.

Yes like discovering they no longer offer unlimited data plans when you switch plans or phone type.
