Eventhough this issue has been addressed here before in a different form, I would like to explain my Problem and hope for some feed back.
My Curve 8530 restarts / boots by it self event though there is still some power on the battery left. ( Which takes like you all know for ever to for the phone to turn back on )
I'm assuming, that the battery is bad. This battery might be fake.
I bought it on Ebay.. even though the sellers promise these batteries are original, I highly doubt it because these batteries sell for 3-5 buck on ebay, while the ones in the store are $ 29.
- First of all I would like to know if somebody had the same experience and if the problem is solved when replacing the new battery?
- And secondly I would like to know where to get an inexpensive but original battery? ( C-S2 )
I have looked around on the net and even though I usually trust amazon... there is 3 party sellers who sell 5$ batteries as well.

Buy from a reputable source. And you shouldn't just be worried about fakes. These batteries have a shelf-life, for example, so even a genuine battery may be a bad buy if you are buying the cheapest you can find.
