After almost a month of "dealing" with the slip case holster that came with the unit, I had enough. Since I am a new blackberry user, I am accustomed to plastic holsters for my cell phones. It's my muscle memory setting (have had cell phones since 94?)
Description: The holster is plastic, though, it doesn't feel plasticky.. It actually almost feels alittle like rubber.. Maybe a little rubberized? The clip rotates and seems very sturdy. The 7130e clicks in and stays very snug.

The clip swivels with "clicks"- like a rachet. It doesn't do a 360, but from the upright, you can click 3 times counter as well as clock wise (to get to the horizontal mode). There are two clicks (positions) between vertical and horizontal.
Here is a picture of the holster with the phone and battery cover off.. I'm not sure what the extended battery door looks like, but I assume it should work with the extended battery.
You can, don't know why, insert the phone face out:

Not sure if you can tell in the previous picture, but there is an indentation in the inside of the case. I was able to, as a test, tape a small magnet to the inside of the case, and it actually doesn't touch the keypad, but does enable the sleeper function.
As it goes, I'm new to blackberry, and am trying to understand the benefit of the function. I hate typing in the password everytime I take the device out of the case, even though I just put it in! (it's a corporate requirement, and can't/don't want to remove it). I set the timeout to 15 minutes, and that's fine with me.
The big minus, IMHO, it's $20!! For a stinking piece of plastic!! But hey, if you build it they will come..
I think it would be a great deal for $10, but $20 seemed alittle steep. There's no RIM badging, just Verizon Wireless in two places.. On the clip and on the inside of the holster. On the back, in the plastic, it also says Made in China (not a sticker).. But hey, what isn't made in China nowadays anyway.
