Just have them forward the email to your BB address on the BIS account. You will receive the email faster when it is forwarded rather than when you Poll for it. Your provider will have an address you can go to where you can set up your account. It should be very simple and intuitive. So if you do not know where to go to do this call your provider, e.g. Verizon, Cingular, etc.

I have a Blackberry data plan with Cingular. Is this what you are referring to? (i.e I am not using an enterprise server, etc.) This is just for personal email accounts. (this all new to me. Sorry!)

Yes call Cingular and have them direct you to where you can set it up. That will get you a BB adress. Then go to all your emails (You cannot do it with Hotmail) and have each of those accounts forward a copy of that email you get there to the BB address. This way you get it instantly and at the same time have a copy for safe keeping at the eoriginal point of receival. BBs have limited memory and you cant use them effectively as storage devices for e-mail.

I have G mail set up on my blackberry but currently as pop. The e mails are extremely slow (several hours late).. and I know I can forward my e mails to my BB but I don't want to get alerted (buzzed) each time. How can I set it up so some of the addresses in my G mail alerts me and others don't when they are forwarded to my BB?

I currently have filters on my G mail account that forwards certain e mails to my BB so I get them right away and alerted and all the rest of the E mails are polled.. and I get the ones that were forwarded several hours before. What I am trying to accomplish is faster e mail from my g mail account with some addresses alerting me and others not. Thanks in advanced
