Hey everyone,

I just switched to the 8700 last week from the Treo 650. The BB is amazing. I had to go back to the Treo for 1 day and couldn't stand it.

My question is about the custom backgrounds/themes I'm seeing on here. I've figured out how to create and load a custom background image, but I see people with their desktop icons up the right side of the screen? How do I go about doing this? I either have all the icons in a grid, or have the names of the applications up and down the right side of the screen.

Also, when I change my background image, it doesn't look that good because part of it is covered by the Cingular bar at the top. Is there any way to change this?

Does anyone have any good Boston Red Sox themes or wallpapers they'd like to share?

Its called a zen theme. A quick search for zen theme will provide you with a thread or two on instructions on how to properly load it. As far as good wallpapers, check for 8700 custom wallpapers. Seattle18 also has a link to a great site he maintains for wallpapers. Thanks

The theme with the icons on the right side is the Zen theme, you need to download a new operating system called teh Barhti. Do a search and you will find it in a thread started by Seattle18. It will also improve some of the phone functionality of the 8700.

To get it so that the pics are not cut-off by the cingular bar at the top, you have to have your pics sized correctly. There is a thread with Zen backgrounds in the Themes forum that I believe also has several Red Sox pics already done. Good luck.
