Default Can BB and Ipaq coexist?

I am currently running Windows XP, MS Outlook 2003 with Business Contact manager and I am having trouble syncing my BB 6230. I recently installed ActiveSync for the Ipaq. When I try to sync the BB I get a "unknown error reported" message. My Desktop Manager version is 3.6.0.54 and I am a T-Mobile subscriber. The BB Platform is 1.6.0.90 and the app ver is 3.7.0.36. Any suggestions, is anyone else running this combo?

Last I seen this wasn't supported... that being said I've done it before.

My suggestion would be to remove both activesync (ipaq) and desktop manager (BB) and then re-install activesync first then Desktop Mgr.

This worked for me, hope it does for you too.

I've done it before. There's a tendancy to have conflicts, but it can be done if you properly install recent versions of ActiveSync and BB Desktop. You may have to keep out unsupported features such as icons inside Notes fields, or fancy fonts inside notes fields, and keep it to a plain PIM standard, to minimize conflicts.

I own both an iPaq 4155 and a BlackBerry 7280.

At the moment, I have decided to finally discontinue synchronizing the PIM to my PocketPC for the time being, now that I have enabled wireless Over-The-Air synchronization with my BlackBerry (BES 4.0). I may occasionally delete the partnership and force a one-way sync (From PC to PocketPC only) once every couple months, so I have a backup of the PIM on my PocketPC, without exacerbating conflicts.

I am using both, without incident. iPaq 4155, BB 7100t. I am doing it betweer 3 computers. You need to pick which handheld will be the one you sync with all three machines (carrier of changes) and sync the other with only one machine. And always sync the carrier first.

I do this everyday. I have a BB 7510 and an Ipaq 5555. I have no problems and never have. My BB Desktop Manager is Version 3.6.3.11 and my ActiveSync is Version 3.71.

Default Got it!

After uninstalling Business Contact Manager, a separate program listed in Add/Delete Programs (I thought it was under Office Professional 2003), I reinstalled BB desktop manager and can now sync both without any error messages! Though both directly to my laptop, i.e. not using a hub. Thanks to all.

I have been able to successfully sync my 7100t with my dell laptop as well as my Dell Axim X30 High. No problems or special configurations.

To be honest, I am not sure what the future is for my Axim. I've been an active PDA user for many years and I am absolutely thrilled with my 7100t.
