Awesome, awesome, thank you. That was exactly the information I needed. I have been under the impression that the configuration was static and set directly in the BIS. The fact that you can configure on-the-fly when composing new emails from the BB is great!

GDPmumin - Thanks for walking me through this issue step by step. Your patience and follow-through is greatly appreciated!

Do you have the new icons on your 7250? They did not show up on mine. Are you running 4.1?

If I'm not mistaken, 4.1 is required for the new icons to show up. I'm easily open for correction on that one, but I think that's correct.

That is correct. And my understanding is that Verizon will be finally releasing version 4.1 OS for the 7250 in about ten days or less.

No, unfortunately I am not running 4.1. Is it available for VZW without having to use another vendor's OS and make the updates?

i upgraded to the new BIS and my 7250 screen didn't change at all. also, i did it hours ago and have yet to receive any emails.

Wirelessly posted (VZW 7130e: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.0) BlackBerry7130e/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

If you'll read the few posts right before yours, it would be helpful to you. You need to be running OS version 4.1, which is not yet available for your device (should be any day), in order to see the new icons on your home screen.

As for not receiving any e-mail, don't have an answer for you. Are you sure you've received e-mail since upgrading? It was in the middle of the night on Sunday; not many people send e-mail at that time.

i haven't gotten an email for about 3 days now. i went to the web client to see what was wrong this morning and upgraded. i sent myself a test message but it was never pushed to me. i clicked on reconcile on my handheld and i received all the emails from my inbox. i sent myself another test message and it was not pushed either. i clicked reconcile 3 times before it came over.

i noticed that on my handheld in email options the auto reconcile has 3 options the first two are my email accounts that i have pushed to my device and the 3rd is "web client". should i have it set to just web client?

Hmm. I wonder if there is a problem with your originating e-mail account. Are you sending the test messages to another account which is set to forward your messages to your BB address or are you sending the messages diectly to your BB account?

Yes. The same thing happens to me.
Does this mean that we can no longer view our email on an internet browser?
I forgot my blackberry at home and am on the road, with my laptop, I can't read my bb emails!
What do i do now?

You're correct. The new BIS does not have an Inbox so you cannot manage/read/send email from the web.

Which to me is fine since I did no email management through the older BWC version.

Neither did I. I like the new setup but there are obvious improvements needed.

I did like the feature of the old BWC for occasionally looking at email on all my accounts, especially when I have no phone access and can't use my own laptop. I could do it in one place on the bb site, but instead have to go to each account separately, now. Hopefully a feature returned in a future release?

I guess there had been one or two instances where it was nice to go back to the BWC inbox to look for a message I could not find on the exchange server and had deleted on my handheld.

Default VZW 4.1 now shows individual icons for each mail acct

I upgraded my vzw 7250 to 4.1 yesterday, and now I have icons for each of the BIS e-mail accounts I setup. Cool!

Upgraded with Nextel and don't like the 2.0. Can't reply to work emails that were forwarded to my BB with my work email account.

That's correct. But you can if you have BIS poll your work account. The account would get its own icon.
