I was given 4.1.0268 today at work and it is problem riden and full of bugs. Also, depended upon functionality such as dial by name is gone. Internet Data Services that did work, now don't work.

Avoid 4.1 like the plague.

I do not have time to dicker with this and want to go back to 4.0. Where can I find the 4.0 Software for a Verizon 7250 (It is not on Verizon Web Site) and can I safely roll back to 4.0

The Enterprise Server guys at work are busy and they don't want to hassle with it, and I sure don't have the time to deal with it. Just give me back what worked ! (Some of us actually use these things for work and depend on them !)

4.1 works fine on my 7250. What problems are you having?

Largest problem is the blank white screen image problem. This occurs in 2 ways:

1) in an email that has an embedded image. When you click on the image to show 'Full Image', it downloads the image but shows a blank white screen

2) In the Blackberry or Internet Browser when have an image that is autosized down small. THe view Full Image option here just returns a white screen

On my Verizon 7250, when I get an email with an embedded or attached photo, it opens just fine and in the browser, Full Image gives me a full image. Could this be a problem only on BES?

Good point. Possibly, but I don't think so as the problem occurs both under 'Blackberry Browser' and 'Internet Browser'.

If my understanding is correct, Blackberry Browser uses the Blackberry Entrprise Server and Internet Browser does not.

I use both browsers and I'm on BIS.
