[BB-8700G]

I'll be in Hong Kong for a week and wondering if my 8700G will work to receive and send - calls and email?

Does anyone have experience with this phone, T-M and the BB email service there?

I called T-Mobile and one rep said it would work, but wanted to be sure. It's $1.49 / min. for calls.

What other options would there be? Buy a local sim-card and put it in my 8700G?

Should be no problem if you have international roaming enabled. My cingular BB works perfectly in HKG.

I know t-Mobile works in Singapore if that helps...

T-mo works in China with China Mobile, just got back last week.

It will in HK. if you put in a hk simm you have to have the phone unlocked amd you can get the unlock code from T-mobile

Just got back from HK 3 days ago and works fine on TMO.

3Dual or CSL or another?

I'm on CSL in Kowloon as I type this. No problems at all.
