is there a free app that will keep track of whatever sports scores you specify?

I was reading about yahoo alerts but its my corporate email accoutn so i dont want 32908 alerts flooding that inbox.

I am envisioning an app that I can just one click into that will show me on one screen the live scores of the teams I have specified if they are currently playing and maybe the next scheduled game for the teams I have specified that are not currently playing.


does this exist?

Try this. It takes about 10 minuters to setup the first time. After that, it's a simple as clicking on a bookmark.

1. On your pc, go to cbs.sportsline.com and set up a free account. Then click on "my profile" in the upper right hand corner and select the teams you want to follow. They have MLB, NFL, NHL, NBA, NCAA Football, and NCAA B-Ball

2. On your BB browser go to Sign In - CBS SportsLine.com and login using the account you just set up. This page is not formatted well for the BB browser, but you only have to go to it once.

3. Navigate to http://cbs.sportsline.com/my/box-scoreboards/ on your blackberry browser or internet browser. The page is formatted quite nicely for your bb browser. Today's games for your teams (if any) should be listed.

4. Also add bookmarks for specific league pages, e.g., http://www.sportsline.com/nfl/box-scoreboards

or

http://www.sportsline.com/mlb/box-scoreboards

These give you the entire scoreboard for the league, as well as yesterday's scores and tomorrow's schedule. These pages are nicely formatted for the BB browser.

PocketDay Sports is good stuff. Real good stuff. Can be set to refresh every 1 minute.

PD sports is the way to go up to the minute updates and rock solid reliability. Customize the teams you want to track in the major sports, league standings, in game updates and you can set up multiple profiles if you want to view certain teams or events.

pocket day sports has been great ...new feature of alerting you when game scores changes rocks for baseball and will be great for football and hockey too

PocketExpress works great, has sports, weather and others available for free. Has some more features if you purchase the full version like a desktop clock but it's sort of useless to me unless the BB is in a cradle.

the browser doesnt seem to be remembering my credentials from when i login to when i go to the scores page....any ideas?

4info.com has a free app that will give you scores, etc...but will also give you individual player stats too
