Hello everyone,

I am both new to this forum as well as to the world of BlackBerry. I recently switched from Verizon Treo 650 (which I had good use of) to Cingular Blackberry 8700c. So far I am impressed!

I have an IMAP server that works well with Outlook and also worked well with the Treo (using 3rd party software) that enabled me to see my folders and stored emails. However, I am having trouble accessing my IMAP folders via the BlackBerry even though I do get all new mail.

I would be pleased if someone could refer me to threads that already explain this topic, or to share some points on getting this set up.

Everything else seems to be working fine, including the sync. Don't know if that has anything to do with it.

I would like to be able to wireless sync my imap server via the 8700c even if I must use 3rd party email client.

Go with BES, functionalities like that aren't really supported by the Blackberry. At least out of the box.

With IMAP and BIS 2.x, you will only be able to have reconciliation the inbox, Deleted/Trash and Sent folders on your server. At least that's the way I read the documentation.
