Default Wavs on i7100?

Please Login to Remove!

I updated the OS on my Nextel i7100. And I can't seem to download
any wavs from any web sites. I also tried to send a MMS to my
BB/phone from the Nextel site, I add the wav on the message and then
I get a message saying "No slides present please add slides to your message".
It won't let me send, without it. I added a pic and that came though in
the message on my BB, but not the wav I sent with it..
Can someone tell me what I might be doing wrong.... Or how else I can
put wavs ringers on my BB. Thanks for any and all help.

there are two other threads about the new OS release for the 7100i. if you look in them you will find exact info on "how-to."

I did look at them and that is how I heard about doing it though the messages.
When I try to send a MMS message from Nextel's site it asks me to add slides.
And even if I add a pic and the wav, the message on the BB doesn't show
the wav I attached.

Don't send them thru nextels website, just send them from your regular email address to "yourphonenumber.messaging.nextel.com"

or just going to the thread and not reading the entire thread. he said he read "the part about messages" i haven't seen where it said to MMS the wavs to yourself. i read where it said that you could "email" them to yourself in the thread i linked. again, laziness i guess.

(Sorry won't let me repost the URL, from your message)

OK I did screw up and missed the part about "uploading my own ring tones" onto coolservice, that is where I missed up.
So it wasn't being lazy, it was screwing up and missing something. But anyway thanks for the help and pointing out about the upload put. I'll give it a try. I have a lot of different ring tones on my computer since I've been installing them on all my friends and family's nextel phones.

I do go to the other threads and I'm even subscribed to them.
And in the other thread it does say about sending yourself a message
with the wav file. Even one of the post said about the cost of each message.
But like I said above I screwed up and miss the part about uploading to coolservice.dk and it was not for being lazy.
