For the life of me, I can't get my new 8700 to synch automatically when I get in proximity with my notebook. Bluetooth is enabled, but both devices just sit there and do nothing.

What am i missing. If there is already a thread on this, please point me to it.

Let me know if you hear anything. I have successfully paired my 8700C with my laptop, but desktop manager shows "disconnected". Both the laptop and the 8700 show Desktop Connectivity under services. Yet I can't synch.
