So far...I love it. My question is what applications are a "must have" for you? Free would be optimal. Cool games, ringer sites...just cool stuff to have. Glad I found this forum. Everyone here seems pretty darn knowledgable.



Does Cingular have an OS update that I need to download or is that only for T-MO?

Check the link in my signature. There is a lot of stuff including games, programs, movies, etc.

Right now Cingular has the latest OS. However, you'll find from the forum that all OS updates no matter where they come from will work on your phone. So, if T-Mo comes out with another update that is newer than Cingular, you can use it and it won't effect your service.

What about for Desktop Manager software? Do newer ones work for all versions?

The newest DM should work for all BB's. You just may not be able to use some of the features of the new DM on older BB's.
