Is there anyway to get the BB today theme onto the verizon 8703e. I was able to get the vodaphone today on it but not really liking it. I did search but cant find an answer to this

The Dimension - Today theme can easily be extracted from most of the current 8700 OS downloads. If you search you should be able to find OTA installation links that were posted by jibi (I think it was jibi ...).

I love it myself..would love to change that beige/brown/green background though...

I just copied the "net_rim_theme_bb_dimension_today_320x240.cod" file from the "Loader Files" directory and made my own .alx file to load it through the Desktop Manager:

I like doing it this way because 1) if I update my OS build it's not going to mess with the Theme version and 2) if I decide to remove the theme it's isolated and can be removed easily.

If you want to load it within the OS build then just make sure the BlackBerry.alx has something like this:

Oh ... and make sure the actual net_rim_theme_bb_dimension_today_320x240.cod file exists ...

i can see the today theme loaded on the handheld in the modules menu but i can see it in the theme menu?? I am so lost

Where did you download from? Is it listed in the themes list? Have you tried pulling the battery and rebooting?
