Well i found this cool little app that lets you test your 8100 CPU speed so i thought it would be cool to take a poll and see if we are all running around the same speed and if it changes with different OS's.

My speed was
368.2 the first time
368.2 second time
372.3 the third time after a hard reboot

funny thing is - it says the 8700 CPU speed is 380.0 I would think the 8100 would have a faster CPU even though they use the same processor

My first run was really Low how sad I got a slow pearl. lol

My first run was 339.1
My second run was 397.0 (which I think it is great but not the avg of the speed cause it never happen again )

with a hard reboot my index was 364.1

So yea I don't know y the speed changes all the time cause I kept doing it and I got different answers hehe

just curious does the processing speed have to do with the problems of loading up images on a memory card? for some reason it takes forever on mine...I didnt format the card via the pearl but it still works...just curious if this is the reason why images take forever to load, even the thumbnail views...

anyone with a similar experience?

I'm sure some of you already know this ,but for those who don't: don't install that launcher program contained in that link onto your pearl. It's not a good thing. :(

Yea, I tried out that program by downloading over the air and now I have to wait till I get home to connect to my pc so I can get if off of my pearl.

I got a 401.1 on my third try.
