Only the bottom keys are some times squeaky when I'm typing rather quickly. Another thing that irks me is the send button feels loose and when you lightly rub back and forth on it, you can hear it squish squish like it's about to fall off.

yeap. that's my exact same noise i hear. Mine is on the send key however.

I don't worry too much because if it falls off, i'll just replace it under warranty.

I personally think that after sometime this squeaky noise will disappear because the glossy coating will wear off from use.

The gloss over the key's have nothing to do with this. It's whats underneath the keys that are making the noises.

My 'space' key makes a 'click' noise when I use it, but goes away after about the third word, then comes back when I haven't used it for a while. Just been ignoring it - D'oh!

oh, i'm so glad this just isn't me. my '4' button makes a clicking noise (not sure if that is the squeaking noise referred to as well) too. at first i thought it was b/c i spilled water on the keys while applying the BSE skin, but good (i guess) to know that it was already like that.

Hi mate, I have a 1 month old Pearl and the space key is squeaking already..... Feels like it is sticking and not returning to position properly.... otherwise, what a fantastic phone.
