Hi all,

Got a couple of newbie issues I hope you can help me with.

1. On the front screen (not the one listing all applications etc) you get the brief info screen with number of emails in inbox, same with texts, plus upcoming calendar info. My problem is with the calendar info, as it is displaying two events not due until May and June, while it’s not highlighting entries for next week!! The date and time in the phone is fine, so any idea why it’s giving forward dates info and not current info??

2. Have downloaded and installed (twice to see if the 2nd install resolved the problem) a specific news reader for a website. When I run it though I get the error message “could not connect to the server… probably due to missing or invalid network access point settings. Error: open tunnel – failure”
I’ve viewed and amended a few of the application permissions but to no effect so I’ve returned to the default settings. Does anyone have an idea how I might resolve the problem.

Are you using a third party calander app??

in regards to question #2, what provider are you using?

1. Calendar is the default one that is on the phone, while the one on my PC that it's linked to is MS Outlook.

check to see if your tcp/ip settings are correct.

Menu > Options > Advanced Options > TCP
