Can't wait for .23 because I just started noticing that my battery doesn't last more than 8 or 9 hours now. It used to last days even with the last release. So I look foward to the next release and for the record I am using Nextel's 7520.

Kyububba,

It's been about a week since I've been using JT.
In the beginning it was getting d/c but after a few days it became stable.
Overall this is a GREAT app!!!
Some improvements are needed and mentioned by other members.
Besides that, FANTASTIC!!!
Keep up the great work.
Also Thank You for sending the e-mail with the updated build.

Thumbs up

Jive Talk was nice enough to let me try the new .23 version...I have to say, it is a much more power saver for my battery with the new feature they have implemented, and i always leave myself signed on....good job JiveTalk

Just got a new bug in V.22 (do we have an official process to log these?), I just logged back in and upon connection it reported that I had a new message from a non-buddy. However the buddy was in my AIM buddy list and it was just all the text of a previous conversation I had earlier today and had already ended that.

Another bug.

I'd been logged into AIM/Yahoo/MSN all day - just got back from lunch, and the green light was off next to my MSN login.

I try to login and get '401 Unauthorized'

I've not made any changes to my settings - *help*

I wish the program would reconfirm the action after I clicked on the "delete all accounts" by accident.

I believe if JiveTalk has this feature, it would help someone, like me, who accidentally clicked on the "delete all accounts" option.

Default Build 0.5.23 (Battery Saving Mode) available

This is the battery saver mode build that's been in development testing this week. Feedback from the testers have been generally positive, though there are still a few more optimizations that will go into 0.5.24.

What's included in this build:
- Battery saver mode for when the application is idle or in background. This should cut down the drain some folks have been experiencing. There is a new preference checkbox to enable this setting. How quickly this kicks in also depends on the minutes till idle setting. So setting the minutes till idle to something low will help a bit more.
- 4.0 OS build. We haven't been able to run JT on 4.0 OS devices up till now. There is a new OTA url for 4.0 OS.

Originally we wanted to include the grouping functionality in this build, along with a number of other enhancements. But because quite a few folks already have this version installed as .23, adding more things into the same version would have introduced quite a few headaches, so the core functionality of .23 got pushed to .24

Notifications to come shortly.

.23 does seem to be helping with battery drain on my 8703e.

Has anyone noticed any type of memory leak while using JT?
