Navigation Dashboard view:

information such as upcoming streets, your speed, and your compass direction.

You can also bookmark locations with lat and long.

What it really needs to do is auto scroll the info when driving so you can know what streets to turn on. That's the big flaw in bbmaps that needs to be fixed.

I have the GPS functioning and have the BB Maps program on my 8800, but when I launch BB Maps all I see are grids and lines - no map. What am I missing?

where did you get bb maps for this everytime i try to download i get an error messgage

i figured it out. since i got my new 8800, i failed to setup my TCP options to show the wap.cingular info with user name and password - as soon as i did that, my maps showed up
