Default Who went from any BB before to th Pearl to the Pearl

Please Login to Remove!

I think its kinda funny

I had a 8700g which i loved and finally got the pearl which i love even more.

So i'm typing and stuff, finished typing and then send. This is when I accidentally go for the trackwheel and think for a split second WTF?

Like when you normally drive a stick, then you drive you parents car once in a while which is of course an auto..and you go for the clutch but there is no clutch pedal?

so anybody else done that?

Sorry if this is a stupid topic

Yes, but only for a few days....a week tops. Now I find myself putting my thumb on the top of the BB when I pick up someone else's old one. Trackball was a great improvement, IMO.

That happened to me too. Happens to most I know who went from the trackwheel, to the trackball. I think its an improvement for overall usage. However it isnt an improvement for games. I have barely touched Brickbreaker, Circlepopper, MeteorCrusher, and Texas Hold 'Em and since I got the Pearl. I usually play Hearts, Ka-Glom and Zelda instead.

Funny how that happened to me too! Now I love the trackball! I couldn't agree more about the games though.

Having not had a BB prior to the Pearl, I'm curious as to why you feel this is so.

The first day I constantly rubbed the side looking for the trackwheel, the second day I did it a few times, the third day I did it once, and so far I haven't done it at all on the fourth day! I think I'm becoming indoctrinated! lol

And I find I'm loving the trackball - wasn't sure I would.

I was probably more used to the track wheel. I think you have more control that way. Perhaps i can do the same with the trackball if i lower the sensitivity (is this even an option). However, changing the sensitivity would probably result in ruining my every day operations (scrolling through emails, applications, etc).

As for the Zelda question. No i have not finished it, and in all honesty I forgot where I got it. It's a beta, so I will probably never finish it.

I went from a BB 7130 to the Pearl, and to be honest I'm still not sure!
