Default Cannot accept meetings from Blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

I have a couple of users who when they accept Meeting requests on their Blackberry's, the meeting is not accepted in their Outlook Calendar.

The Blackberry is a 7250, BES 4.0, and Exchange 2003, SP2.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Gary

I have never been able to accept an Outlook meeting from my Blackberry. I have an 8700c with BIS, its probably because I am on BIS and not BES but thought I would mention it anyways....

I have an 8700c as well and I there was a period of time where I had the same problem. I would try to accept but would get the dreaded red X. However, the appointment would still show on my Exchange calendar as accepted.

Whatever it was, it seemed to resolve itself.

We have exactly the same problem as dmbascfan - Only some devices. When accepting meeting requests, red cross for failed send, but cal updated - Devices latest firmware - BES 4.0 and BES 4.1 fully patched (inc SP2).

Cant work it out!

Make SUre that BESADMIN has send as rights to the Exchange Mailbox of the user. That might be the reason for the red x and message not sending.

I had the same exact issue as well and when I upgraded to the newest version of BES and updated my CDO.dll it went away. You may want to check and make sure your CDO.dll's match and if they do unregister and re-register it and see if that resolves your issue.
