im on verizon and well i lost my phone on spring break and i bought a 7750 on ebay and after talking almost 2 hours with verizon and taking it to the store they still cant get the sorry, only emergency calls error that i get any time i try to make a call to go away. i was told that the ESN number may be locked but if so i shouldnt be able to get SMS messages and i can. does anyone know what i can do? we have tried to reset it and everything

There may be an IT Policy on it which is restricting phone calls. Check in the Security section to see if there is an IT Policy.

If so, search on "Remove IT Policy" to see if that will help you remove it.

i goto the options/security and theres is no IT policy or any thing so i still have no idea whats going on

What happens if you dial *22899 ?

well i followed the steps that john clark told me to try and it unlocked all the IT policies and now it works thank you all

It still has some policy left on it that likely can't be erased but most everything should work for you just fine.
