Default blackberry Phone IT policy

Please Login to Remove!

I created an it policy in bes 4.1 to disable the phone on the blackberry. how do i now make the icon disappear from the device?

Can you hide icons via IT policy? I'm not sure that you can I think you have to manually hide the icons directly at the handheld...

Usually if you disable something in the policy it removes the icon on the device (this is at least true for the BB Browser\IBS icons). Since the phone and data services are usually seperate, it might be a manual intervention to hide that icon...

You might want to leave the phone icon as is. Even though the phone is disabled it still can be used to make 911 calls.

ok no problem i just want to get rid of the icon but i guess it will have to remain
