Default Tough Decision

Please Login to Remove!

I was set on buying a Pearl, but I am not eligible for an upgrade until 6/25 so I went into an AT&T store to play with my future toy. Out of curiosity I asked to see a Curve. It is quite a bit smaller than I expected and I am now thinking about buying a curve. Other than the keyboard what benefits are there to the curve? It's a little more expensive but I have to admit it's pretty sexy.

Bigger screen, 2MP camera, and the full keyboard is a big deal for some.

Well I have just made my tough decision and my curve is on order. I did all the usual research on the net and of course on this excellent forum but still it was difficult. The pearl has many fans and it is more compact, however, for 1cm in width you seem to gain so much more in terms of the screen and the keyboard. But dont forget the stereo bluetooth and the built in spell checker!

Good luck with your decision!

Other than being larger, is the screen on the curve the same or better than the Pearl?

curve plays video.. woot woot! Screen is narrower than most. Curve also has a standard stero head phones jack. And lastly Curve support 4gig microsd cards when they come out for us standard joes,

Really digging the curve. Haven't had a BB since a few jobs ago provided one, but the curve is great. I could take or leave the camera, but the screen and keyboard are really nice. Full keyboard was a must for me

I have a Curve now and my wife has a Pearl. I like the full qwerty keyboard. I am coming from an 8700. It has all the apps she has and a bigger screen. The thing I envy is they have nicer cases out for the pearl. All in time.

Go with the curve but check the coverage in your area first.

In anwser to your question, other than size (which is of course very important when it comes to screens) the quailty settiings of the pearl and curve are the same = colour TFT and 65.536 colors.
