Has anyone noticed that there is a specific folder called "SMS Inbox", "SMS OutBox" and "SMS SIM Card InBox". Open an SMS message and click the wheel to 'View Flder'. Question is, why is there such a folder when it's not possible to send true SMS messages on the Nextel blackberries?

This is probably a common component found on BlackBerries since the BlackBerryOS is used on all three main cellphone technologies (iDEN, CDMA, GSM).

Or it may be that outgoing SMS may be a future planned feature.

I hope so. At the very least, it would be nice if you can see who your SMS message came from.
