Just wanted to add my thanks!! First, for letting me be a beta tester, and second, for giving me a free copy of the app.

Good luck and thanks again,

Is there a reason we can't use the default 'BBMillibank Tall 8pt Bold" font in Empower? I actually quite like that font, it's very readable and easy on the eyes.
Thanks Rivviepop from dropping by, Cursive and Fantasy are my personal favs. Also to keep this thread on topic, we will take it up in the dedicated thread for product feedback here - http://www.blackberryforums.com/afte...ewer-here.html

Thanks.

This is an html email viewer for your BB only. It won't do anything for a receiver of your email (unless they have the same email viewer on a BB.) Your emails go out just as they always have.

How do I know if I have the license?? I followed direction the day the post went up and now have upgraded on my 8703e to ver 0.70.
Is there some confirmation of this license?
And why when I run the desktop manager do I see empower showing action to betaken as "downgrade" ?

Any way to confirm if we've opted in? When I downloaded it OTA, I provided my name & email but didn't see any confirmation either on the page or via email.

This is awesome. I have been using the software for a week or so and love it. Hope I'm part of the beta program so I get one of the licenses.

Keep up the great work. cant wait to see more on your spell check program.

If you have provided your name and email to the system, and have successfully install the product OTA then you are in Confirmation is the successful installation of Empower Mail Viewer.

Oh, and you should further upgrade! Version 0.91 is the latest one.

Thanks.

Ani, I know you are busy but it will be really helpful if we could somehow find out if we are in the 10,000 free license. Can this be done, someway..?

btw, hope you don't me asking this but how many left!

Ani,

Thanks for developing a great addition to our blackberrys, and on top of that... giving out so many licenses to us forum goers.

What's your recommended way of upgrading? I had filled in the name/email to get 0.7, then the 0.9.x was released and I did the same process over again, which might add my name twice to your database?

Maybe y'all should put a menu option (Empower Options -> menu key -> "Upgrade") that launches the web browser directly to the OTA jad file for upgrade. This is how JiveTalk does it, it works perfectly (theirs is in Help -> About menu, but same difference).

You dont have to enter your name or email address to download. Just go a little further down on the DL page.

Okay, has been a frantic run of the day here for us.. Of late we seemed to have been getting substantial inquiries from a number of companies who were interested in marketing our entire line of upcoming products. Looks like v0.7 showed them the potential of whats possible - compact code, tighter integration and faster performance.

And we still prefer doing what we do best - churning out code and improving things till the last bit.

Therefore, after serious thoughts about the future of Empower in face of present and forseeable competition, we have given Mobylo (Mobylo! Blackberry Mobile Application Software Handheld PDA) the commercial rights to our Mail Viewer. We have also negotiated 10,000 free licenses of the professional version for everyone here at BBF, PINSTACK and HOWARDFORUMS who are participating in Empower public beta.

We believe its a win-win situation for all of us here :

1. We continue to do what we love doing and are best at - churn out code and develop kickass apps for BlackBerry device. ( And kick some ass in the process )
2. Mobylo being an established company can provide better reach and support for Empower Mail Viewer.
3. Empower stays kicking and alive as before - We will keep developing apps with substantial FREE licenses for public beta testers. So all you guys, keep chiming in.

Also, to begin with Mobylo will be handing out FREE Licenses of the release version to EVERYONE who are a part of public beta! Since we are still one release away from Version 1.0 it means the offer is STILL OPEN for all. So in case you have downloaded the beta but did not opt-in, pls do so now at - Empower!

Also, we want you to take the maximum benefit of this arrangement, so don't forget to invite your friends fast - the GOLD RUSH ends at 10,000 licenses. And we are already past 6,000 beta users.

Thanks!
Empower.

...so the fact that they've shared another IP address might lessen that doubt a bit? Honestly, I can understand the concept of an open proxy or an AOL proxy, but having two different IP addresses on two different networks and both being something like a national proxy for all of India is a bit unrealistic. But hey, I could be wrong.

Oh surely, I'm not defending nor attacking - only lending a small logic nugget. That was in response only to the one shared IP, I know nothing about the rest of which you speak of course.

What is, is.
