Installed without any problems. Haven't been able to see any differences really. Seem to have about the same amount of memory free as with Rogers OS and media loads just as quickly.

Apart from the things already mentioned here eg. speed of loading etc there isnt much difference.

Had no issue with Browser, Opera. And the CICAL issue, i never had so its all working fine.

I downloaded the blackberry.alx file from OP and it came with a LBS.alx as well. What's the lbs file for?

Blackberry maps. LBS = location based services
Maps are disabled for some carriers.

I'm on Rogers and currently have maps. So should I still replace LBS file?

This is part of the 222 release. The volume boost is a nice feature. My anecdotal evidence is that this release has both fixed significant bugs (calendar problems), and added useful new features. Definitely worth the update!

LBS replacement is ONLY for Cingular branded devices (regardless of OS or network currently being used.)

To those with Calendar sync/reminder issues, it is not necessary to upgrade to this OS to fix the issue. A patch has been released:

Another quick question: how do I delete themes that I've installed and no longer want? I go into Applications>Modules and can see them all but don't have an opton to delete.

I am not sure if you guys notice that, but we now can download video clip from the web. They have changed the way it work. Before, I tend to get "Entity too large" error, but now thats fixed.

Ex. Go to TinyTube.net and try any video clip. Before this version, clicking on "Large" will get you this error, now it can play large version.

I have uploaded converted avi file to my site and now, my friend with updated version, can download and play... neato!

This OS, by the way, is also available from Hong Kong CSL: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...B42B2DBB8F27B6

I followed your link, but nothing happens when I click on the link on Blackberry's site to apply the patch. The same page just refreshes again. Has anybody had success in making this work?

(I'm on BIS).
