Default would it be a good idea to upgrade to these versions?

Please Login to Remove!

OK so last question tonight i promise.

Been searching on the O2 site and came across these.

3rd one down for the Pearls obviously
BlackBerry from O2 - Help and support

and im not sure if this is a separate download or just more info on the above download?
BlackBerry from O2 - New Enterprise software

Also not too sure where to find the version on my Pearl but in the options > about page, 3rd line down says v4.2.0.67

thanks

jedi--my honest opinion, if you got your BB recently, and it is giving you NO problems, leave as is for now. Wait a little while and upgrade after you have gotten used to the BB.

But back to your question, yes, you can upgrade your OS (this links to the latest OS for the Pearl):
http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...2-1-101-a.html

And you don't need the Enterprise software update unless you are on a company enterprise service.

You found the OS version in the correct place, Options > About.

Enjoy.

The Pearl download from the first link will upgrade you to 4.2.1.93. I see no reason why you shouldn't do it, though you don't necessarily have to. Alternatively, you could upgrade to 4.2.1.101 using the instructions found on this thread: http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...2-1-101-a.html

Either way, you should read through the entire first post on that thread, since it will tell you a lot about how the upgrade works and common mistakes you should avoid (the biggest one is not being patient and allowing the update to complete, which can take over an hour).

The second link is to upgrade Enterprise Server software, which is the software you would install on an email server if you were that server's adminstrator. You don't need any of that.

Doh...beaten by SECONDS...hey, at least I got all the info right.
