Blackberry HS655 available July 5th 2007???

What's up with that? Is this a new firmware version coming out? I know some of you have the Blackberry 655 already, some in brown paper wrappers and some in full retail packaging. Why does the Blackberry site say it will be available on July 5th?
I just bought the Plantronics 655 because it was available but I don't like the delay when answering. If I return it and buy a Blackberry 655 from an internet merchant or ebay will I be getting an older version? Are there issues they are fixing with the release coming out on July 5th?
