Hi everyone,

Could someone please confirm that the latest BlackBerry desktop manager can synch with Act! 2007 before I go out and buy one?

I have heard rumours that the new release/software update of the BB desktop manager will synch with the new version of Act! 2007, but if I can confirm this, that would be great!!!

I can't personally confirm that (I use HandHeld Contact with Act! 2007.)

I would suggest that you look at Companionlink, it works with ACT 2007:
CompanionLink 2.0 -- synchronize your contact management and CRM databases with any mobile device.

The basic synch will not give you what you want from an ACT-BB combo anyway. Try Companionlink, I have used ACT for many years and I am very happy with companionlink.

HHC is good because it does allow you to link contacts to activities and right now they are the only ones that you can do that with- it was not worth $300 a year- for me at least. I do not need any of their wireless sync capabilities and it was major overkill.

I think that is the issue- I remember that it does not. I could not find the thread but I believe there is a problem with ACT 2007 synch. Companion link makes it all work well though-they list 2007 as compatible. I use 2006.

Thanks for the replies. Is Companion Link a subscription service? I am not into that, but will pay a one time fee for the software. All I need is basic synching!

CompanionLink is a modest one time purchase. I use it for linking Goldmine with my BlackBerry. It is an excellent tool.
