The link at the top bypasses the TMo phone number requirement.

I think that's been answered in this thread already.

It must be a browser problem. Both links work fine. Try clearing your cache, turn off popup blockers and disable any antivirus you may have running and then try the link again.

From what I'm reading in this post, the multitap issues have supposedly been fixed, and people are saying that it works fine now. But mine still is having problems of repeating letters. It is a little better than .103, but still not like it use to work with .64, and I have to keep correcting every other word. Anyone else still seeing the problem? Am I missing something or doing something wrong? Thanks.

EDIT: Please ignore, just saw that others have faced the same problem even after upgrading to .107. I can't find the "delete post" button. Sorry.

Default .107 upgrade issue

When I started the install of .107 from .101 it got to a point where it was about to upgrade, then I noticed that there were a bunch of things it did not recognise and indicated it would remove them. Such things as Chinese codepages, which I need + numerous other things.
Is there a way to stop the install from removing existing packages ?.

I am hesitant to change. I have no issues so far. I just bought mine a few weeks ago.

I've noticed a weird glitch when my phone rings. I don't get a screen who is calling just the phone ringing. This doesn't happen alot but it is doing it. Anybody have this problem?

That's a new one....any 3rd party software installed? You've rebooted?

I get the same problem, just recently started happening, however I did not upgrade, because during the .107 upgrade it stated that it did not recognise some things and was going to remove them, so I canceled.

Not really -- this firmware is Western European, Chinese/etc. languages aren't included because it's not part of the 'real' target market. Because you need your zh_CN (chinese) support you should stick to a firmware that is specifically marketed in Chinese and has the proper support - such as Rogers or one of the Australian releases.

If you *must* try and upgrade to T-Mo .107, here's a thread with some hacks in it that might help. YMMV, don't break your phone.

This 107 update is messing with Splash ID. Went to re-register and now I just get an error every time I try to open it on my BB.
