I had this as well after installing and then deleting BBWeather. Couldn't clear the message off the screen and not even a reset (pulling the battery while running) would eliminate it. I used JL Commander to wipe my 8800 and then did a clean install of the OS downloaded from T-Mobile. And I'm back in business, running smooth.

Looks like it's cropped up again. This is annoying! I can't clilck on the error message to dismiss it, and not even a hard reset (pulling battery for 30 seconds or more) will get me past it. If I let it sit long enough I get a white screen with tiny writing announcing a "503 error" and offering the chance to restart. Right back to the "uncaught exception......"

I'm running the latest OS version available at T-Mobile but I'm going to update it to the latest from Vodaphone tonight. In the mean time, has anyone determined exactly what application is causing this error? How about some double-secret top-level ultra-cool key combo that will let me dismiss the error and get my 8800 working again?

Last time it happened I was trying to launch BBWeather for the first time. So it did exactly what it's doing now, locked in the dreaded uncaught exception loop. This time I was using the phone. I hit the End Call button and the Blackberry was locked up hard. After a few minutes the uncaught exception message came up on the screen and that's where I am now. Besides a wipe and reinstall, do I have any options?
