Anyone out there have this? I was going to get the freedom mini gps to go with my Curve but this looks like a better unit for a cheaper price. They appear to be going for anywhere between $60 and $75.
Any comments are welcome. Thanks.

Do you mean the Holux M1000? I have that device. Seems to work ok with my 8700c

No, I am not affiliated with them, they just had the most info on the gps. They are also on ebay and semsons.com

Interesting, Its not on Holux website yet. It looks like it has the same chipset as the M1000 though if that helps

The jury is still out. I lost the puck via BT and had to try to recconect. I also went thru 2 of my dead zones. When this happened I had to pull the perl battery and off/on the 1200.
Dont take this as bad yet. I am a novice and been goofin with a few map services, so it could be user error!
Wil try to calm down and will report back tommorrow night.

It is free right now and has voice! I just DL it today and hope it works well and stays free or low priced

Hello,
Well, this morning I did a better job of "not" touching it! I am using the 1200 with nav4all and it worked great. The only issue I had is when I hit my only dead zone, but it picked it back up when I came out of it.

I will report back about my trip home.
