i was taking a look on my tmobile and in the account section and accesories i saw an option for like download upgrades for the cell but non of those links works, i would like to know if is any way to download upgrades for the cellphone and where and if is a good thing to keep the cell upgrade or not... thanks

it's a common question/answer: if you BB is working well and has no issues, and there are no new features in a new OS that you desire, leave well enough alone.

Read through the thread on the latest 8100 OS and decide for yourself. The first link has all the instructions you need to perform the upgrade AS LONG AS you follow the instructions posted.

Go to options and about it will tell you the version.

on your BB go to Options > About. Look at the third line "v.4.x.x"

What does that line read?

at least thats what i think is :-S
