Looking at my home screen, I have noticed on my new Pearl that about 1/5 or 1/6th of the way down from the top, there is a noticeable break in color. This starts right above the word "messages" in the Today theme.

It's almost like the top of the screen is permanent, and the bottom moves when I go to my applications.

In fact, when I go to my applications, you can see the tip of the messages icon sticking up. It looks pretty shoddy, especially for a brand new phone AND a theme that came on the phone.

Is this some kind of glitch for me? Are all Pearls like this?

Same here. I googled 8130 Today Theme and found the Today Plus theme and put made that active and it's great.

I have that same situation on my Sprint 8130. However, it is of no concern to me since I have no use for the Today theme and there's nothing wrong, that I can tell, on either of the other stock themes.
