I am trying to back up my 8830. I am using DM 4.3. My device OS is at 4.2.2.123. It seems to be making most of the way through and then just stops and says "The data was not recognized by the device" I am at a loss, as I just backed up my device 1 week ago. I have no idea where to start. *Side note* If I go into the advanced tab and save item by item, it seems to work, however, I don't want to have to do this every time. I wonder if this has anything to do with my USB port getting a little loose.

Have you added any new applications recently? After I added BBWeather, I had that problem. When I wipe my phone, I have to add the location info manually.

I don't understand why my posts never get any advice. Anyone else posts, and they get a menagerie of answers. This is still a problem and I could really use some help.

The error only came up once during a line by line manual backup. The Profiles file couldn't be backed up.
