Default youtube (must see)

I came across a site that actually let's you watch youtube videos. I'm not sure if anyone has heard of it, but I thought I'd share. www.Blueapple.mobi. I have a blackberry pearl and I use it directly from my blackberry browser. Works great! The longest video I loaded was 10 minutes. Took about 3 minutes to load. Check it out. ^_^

Hmmm are you using your blackberry browser? Try typing it in manually. Hope that works.

Very nice find! I love the ease of watching streamed video. Everyone should give this a try.

On my pearl I can watch youtube as a standard.......possibly because its on the new 8130 and not the old 8100.

If you go to YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. it automatically redirects you to m.youtube.com....

In the BB browser after you've hit the YouTube page, click the BB key and select "Page Address." You'll see it's m.youtube.com.

I haven't tried it, but you'd think that if Opera is telling Youtube it's a mobile device, that the same redirection would occur...but I don't use Opera so don't know.

Youtube seems to have greatly expanded the videos available on the "m" side. :D

they announced not too long ago that all were there. again i am not sure how long it takes for a new video to be ported over but i would imagine it still has most

Search for "Front Fell Off" and enjoy, if you haven't seen it yet. :D From Stimson Dog's page...

Just tested normal YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. on my pearl 8130 and it worked, and actually loaded up extremely quick.
1:23 minute video started streaming within about 5 seconds and played through without any breaks. Verizon's stream seems pretty fast ;)

BBerry8130 - Since you are automatically re-routed by YouTube to to m.youtube.com, as far as I can tell you can't use the "normal" youtube from your Pearl using the BB browser (which wouldn't work anyway - normal YouTube videos won't play on a BB). You're going to the mobile version automatically.

I played around w/this some more last night, and found that as Sith_Apprentice noted, most videos played fine, but some still resulted in the "incorrect format" error.

It's a lot of stuff to process, working through existing and new videos. They don't appear to be done yet.
