I don't thinkits a memory issue.... I don't have a ton of messages. And it deleted all text messages. Not just the oldest. Same with the I don't have any games or ring tones downloaded and I have about 5 picturs saved to the phone...

That's low, really. Follow the instructions in the link I posted above and also the Optimize your BB Memory link in my sig. Your problems will be solved.

In particular it is low given the fact that it has just cleaned up substantial memory by deleting SMS.

I really don't have that much info on my device.... I have google maps AT&T's AIM service, opera mini and telanav for third party apps. No ring tones and a few pictures. I have my messages set to save for 2 weeks. I didn't have an excessive amount of text or emails. And I don't have much in my calendar. I have about 75 contacts in my address book Where am I using up a ton of memory? I cleared my cache on my web browser deleted a few pics and I got a tex to come through.

Ok, well, if you don't want to take my advice then you will lose texts again, in about a week.

I gave you all the info you need in the link above and in the Optimize your BB Memory in my sig. I can't force you to make the changes.

10Mb is low. Especially, if you use TeleNav. It's not even enough to run on.

That is very low, follow John Clarks advice or like he said it will just happen again. Just using your device slowly takes up memory. I reset my device via battery pull at least every three days to free up memory.

There is no other answer than what has already been posted. If you simply do a search on the title you gave the thread you wil see that.

Also, don't forget to set reserved picture memory to zero. Also, look into getting a media card.

Desktop Manager allows you to backup everything and i believe there are two 3rd party apps that allow you to view them on your PC if thats what you want to do.

I've followed the steps in the freeing up memory section and that's where I'm at with available memory. I wonder why its still so low....

I would suggest not storing any pictures in device memory and did you delete the sample video?

Also did you do a battery pull with the device powered on? If not try that and report back on memory.

Just don't want to believe it, do you. I guess we are all wrong.

Did you run through any of the instructions at all?
