finally decided to try this after not getting jive talk and giving up on a Blackberry MSN client ever coming out. Will only use MSN with this, but it works like a charm so far. I used the PSI method in the 2nd post.

i just found this and i'm interested in trying this...one question i have is, i have different login names for my yahoo, aim and google accts...so, when logged into google talk (after adding my yahoo and aim contacts via this thread) and i send a message to someone on aim, will it arrive with a username from google, or using my aim name? those on aim do not know my google name (same for yahoo)...i'd rather not have to notify everyone on aim and yahoo of my google name...

No worries. They'll never know you are using GoogleTalk.

Your msgs will be coming from each repespective account after the transports.

Cheers!

quick question - after reading through all the posts one question that wasn't answered and i'm interested in knowing is if i do this and don't want it any longer, how do i get rid of it?

also, does this mess up the BB? i keep seeing something about service books and i'm not sure what that is and if that affects my BB....

I have linked up my aim account with my google talk account, but now whenever I use it on my blackberry I receive 4 duplicate messages whenever someone messages me. Any ideas?

Default Miranda 0.7

I can't get this to work with Miranda. Is there some bug with build 0.7? When I put in different jabber servers in the Jabber Agents window and click browse, nothing happens. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Edit: I just tried the method described in the first post of this thread. I am able to see my AIM buddies in Miranda (on my PC), but they still do not appear on my BB (within my Google Talk BB app).

What am I doing wrong?
