with the 12gb out now, the 16 and 32 cannot be that far behind. I do hope they manage to get the 64gbs out by years end. would love to have 64gb of internal memory and if the rumors from BGR are true, 1gb of internal on my BB.

the 4.3 OS supports media cards higher than 4gb. Strictly speaking only the 8110, 8120, and 8130 support higher out of the box. Many on here have been able to get 6, and even 8gb to work, whereas many others have not.

wow. I found that site on my own a few days ago, but yeah I sure hope something cheaper comes out soon. Because I know if I was to splurge then I'd regret it because they would release a cheap one lol. My 4 GB will have to hold me over for now.

is the way you check to see which OS you have the following?:
settings
\/
options
\/
advanced options
\/
applications
if so, then i am running 4.2 core applications and 4.2.2 on everything else.
i'd like to purchase a memory card ASAP, but i'd also like to put in a memory card with 4gb.
do i have to upgrade to 4.3 OS? and if so, will that affect any current settings i have or affect my blackberry in any major way?
thanks for all of your help.

with an 8310 you have 4.2.2.x as the OS. go to options > about and look at the third line, the numbers that start with v4.x.x.xx
