Hi all, here is my issue:

As most of are full time IT professionals I am sure everyone can sympathize with being oncall (compensated or not), woken up in the middle of the night due to failures and other industry related pains.

We have many appliances that send text messages in the middle of the night (backup appliance, environmental monitoring appliances, BES), I receive these on my Blackberry but I can't set up a specific "rule" to allow the device to ring or vibrate.

Is this set at the BES level (just throwing it out there) or how can I make emails from specific senders LEVEL 1 message (so I can base my phone profile off of that).

Thanks, I love this forum, it trumps TSUpport 90% of the time.

On BES... Messages > Options > Email Filters. Set as high importance and Level 1.

But you can also set an exception for a sender per this FAQ:

quick question, whats lvl 1 messages thou? what does it do? I don't have mine enabled thou.
