Ok so I did a search and I cannot find my answer (at least with my limited knowledge on BB).

I currently use the desktop redirecter, (I think this is refered to as Push email?) I dont know if that means its BES or BIS.

I own my domain and have full acress to all email settings.

I get a TON of spam, so I have my redirecter to filter and not send any [**SPAM**] email.

When I get a message with an attachment, I cannot figure out how to open it. I have a 2 gig microSD installed, and I want the attachments to go to the SD, and I want to be able to open excell, .pdf etc on my BB. Is this possible without buying 3rd party software?

To avoid unnecissary software and costs, if I had my domain forward my email to @something.blackberry.com or whatever (I think those emails are free?) could I both setup the filter to avoid SPAM emails, and could I get attachments attached that would be openable on the BB?

^^ What he said, you cannot save the attachment on your SD card. Once you open the attachment though, it gets saved to the HH memory so whenever you open that same email, you can readily re-view/re-open the attachment. How to open an attachment? Just click the Menu button and hit "Open Attachment."

You can pretty much setup your email to forward to your HH email address and you should still be able to open the attachments.

I called sprint and believe it or not they were very helpful. She got me all setup with a different style of email (no idea what its called, but it is the mail thing with a globe). I had to provide her my password to my email and boom Im set. Filtered to remove spam, and I dont have to worry about anything on my desktop to get mail.

Attachments work too, that was critical.
