Ok so i decided to switch carriers...got this nifty lil blackberry pearl 8100...and within a month now i have had a total of three replacement phones...the problem being call failed static and sim card error messages...I have called this cell phone company so many times, Im afraid they know me personally...I checked memory, I checked everything pretty much...Now my other phone same plan different phone is doing the same thing...Im irrate, My job is suffering do that I am on call and this pile of poo isnt working anyone have any ideas for me...anything at all...My last resort...is called a louisville slugger....

Have you actually switched SIM cards? Try that.

Sounds like a SIM card issue. Someone else was having this problem on this forum or it was another forum. You can't have that much bad luck with hardware!

So you switched carriers to get a cool phone. Was your previous carrier working when and where you needed it?

Did you do your homework to make sure the new carrier provided the coverage when and where you needed it?

Maybe you should go back to your original carrier?
