Default blackberry technology behind the scenes

Please Login to Remove!

I am quite impressed with what BB can do. I am curious though as to how it all works. How does the push actually work. How is the device always connected and still has such a good battery life.

does anyone know any good articles that i could read up for a quick intro on blackberry technology ?

many thanks.

I haven't looked at how much information is in it, but here's a PDF for a start:

Hope that helps.

Thanks a lot dude. It helped. It seems that blackberry uses sms to push and then the applications on the handheld can register as push listners.

Cheers
