Default Unlocking Vendor Themes - 8330

Please Login to Remove!

I was wondering if unlocking vendor themes on the 8330 uses the same procedures as the GSM version? I remember trying to do it for the 8130 and had an 523 Error.

I too would be interested in getting access to the new Sprint Curve themes for my 8310, if possible.

You should have no problems... just follow the same old tried and true method:

I am under the impression that the later models (8110, 8120,8130, 8310,8320,8330), that the Vendor themes ARE not available.

I have seen reports that the java files for vendor themes were not included in specific updates.

I also have tried to unlock the vendor themes for the 8120 and the method that was used for previous devices did not work....

The normal method of unlocking themes has worked well on my 8310.

The themes unlocked great for me, but some of them aren't worth keeping. Can they be removed by reversing the same process? Thanks in advance ....

Just curious if anyone has tried this on the 8330 with Verizon?

If I were to follow the steps to unlock the vendor file, I'm guessing that the latest version of the handheld OS for the AT&T 8310 does not contain the new themes for Sprint's Curve. If that's the case, is there a way to insert them into the OS before it loads onto my phone?

How did you unlock them? Did you use the method from above? I'm afraid of getting the java error and having to wipe my BB again.

Yes, it works for Verizon 8330 as well except that I couldn't find the .alx file until I upgraded to the 4.5 OS that is now circulating.
