yes, is posible without data plan but is need to have active WAP Internet.

I have read someplace that Nav4All works without a data plan, but I see on the Sticky that it requires one.

Not entirely true. If you do not have a data plan and are using Telenav (unless with T-Mobile or Verizon, which I am unsure of), your service provider will charge you for usage of the data network.

Yes your right (sorry for the confusion) on my plan however I do have a certain amount of data I can receive for free per month.Not very much but I have never seen any sort of payment above & beyond my "normal" plan.
I'd love to figure it out but anyone who's on rogers knows their site has been messed up for months..lol
